Thermochromic Yarn is a unique yarn that changes color with temperature variations. The yarn maintains its primary color at 25ºC and changes to another color at 31ºC. This color change is reversible, meaning the yarn will always return to its primary color as temperatures fluctuate. Precautions for Thermochromic Materials:
(1) Store in a dry and completely light-proof environment.
(2) Since the color-changing pigment is more stable in its colored state than in its faded state, varieties with lower color-change temperatures should be stored in a cool place. Prolonged storage at high temperatures may degrade their color-changing performance.
(3) Under the conditions mentioned above, the performance of most color-changing pigments shows no significant degradation after two years of storage.
(4) The processing temperature should be controlled below 150°C, and the heating time of the material should be minimized as much as possible. (High temperatures or prolonged heating will damage the pigment's color-changing properties.)
(5) Prolonged exposure to sunlight may degrade the color-changing performance.
(6) Customers are advised to conduct various tests with small samples before placing bulk orders to ensure suitability.
(7) Some color variation exists in functional threads, and even within the same batch, shades may differ.
(8) Do not wash with solvents.
