Description:
Photochromic Yarn is a smart, color-changing yarn that reacts to sunlight or UV light by transforming from one color to another—then returns to its original shade when removed from the light source.

Features:
1. UV-Activated Color Change: Yarn visibly changes color under sunlight or UV exposure, and fades back in indoor light.
2. Durable & Colorfast: Maintains color-changing ability even after multiple washes and uses.

Precautions for Photochromic Materials:
(1) Store in a dry and completely light-proof environment.
(2) Under the conditions mentioned above, the performance of most photochromic pigments shows no significant degradation after two years of storage.
(3) Avoid simultaneous use with UV absorbers, as the materials are highly sensitive to polarity.
(4) The processing temperature should be controlled below 150°C, and the heating time of the material should be minimized as much as possible. (High temperatures or prolonged heating will damage the pigment's color-changing properties.)
(5) Prolonged exposure to sunlight may degrade the color-changing performance.
(6) Customers are advised to conduct various tests with small samples before placing bulk orders to ensure suitability.
(7) Some color variation exists in functional threads, and even within the same batch, shades may differ.
(8) Do not wash with solvents.
