 DescriptionNylon thermal fuse is a fiber made by spinning nylon raw material through a special production process. It has a much lower melting point than conventional fibers and can bond other fibers excellently. Mainly used for elastic webbing, bonding of Rachel lace edges, bonding sewing threads, chenille fabrics for covering furniture and car seat covers, etc.Thermal fuse can be divided into nylon thermal fuse and polyester thermal fuse according to material.The commonly used specifications of nylon thermal fuse are 40D/10F, 70D/10F, etc. The thermal melting point is 85°C.
CharacteristicThe scientific name of nylon is polyamide, the English name is NOLY, and the international name is nylon. High strength, abrasion resistance and good resilience. It can be made of pure spinning and blending for various clothing and knitwear. The main varieties are nylon 6 and nylon 66. In terms of performance, nylon 66 is better than nylon 6. Nylon has better moisture absorption and dyeability than polyester, and it is resistant to alkali but not acid. Its fiber strength will decrease when exposed to sunlight for a long time. Nylon has heat-setting properties and can maintain the bending deformation formed when heated.Nylon is also refined from petroleum, and its processing process is: petroleum-naphtha-masterbatch-slicing-drawing-compounding-twisting-dyeing-packaging-sewing thread.Nylon chips are spun through a single head to form nylon monofilaments, which are what we often call fishing thread and transparent thread. According to the size of the spinneret, different specifications of fishing thread are formed. According to the size of the wire diameter, its specifications are divided into 0.05MM, 0.08MM, 0.1MM to 1MM.Nylon chips are multi-jetted to form nylon filaments, which are twisted to form our nylon threads or pearls. The specifications of nylon filament are generally 50D, 100D, 120D, 150D, 210D to 1600D. The twisted sewing thread has 2 strands, 3 strands to 9 strands.Nylon yarn is divided into FDY and DTY according to its drafting method. FDY is also called fully drawn yarn. DTY is textured yarn, which is what we often call nylon high elastic yarn.Nylon can be colored at a normal temperature of 80 degrees. After the thread is made, nylon is more shiny than polyester. In terms of wear resistance, nylon is better than polyester, and in terms of strength, polyester is stronger than nylon. In terms of high temperature resistance, polyester is better than nylon. Nylon has a certain degree of elasticity, but polyester has no elasticity. When nylon burns, it emits white smoke and has yellow melting head, while polyester emits black smoke and black melting head after burning.
